Name: "Try-It" Wood Barn Quilt Painting Workshop

Try-It! Join instructor, Laurie Maus as she leads the group in creating their very own wood 'barn quilt'. A Barn Quilt is usually a large square wood panel that is painted with a quilt pattern and placed on the end of a barn. Participants in this workshop will choose from a few patterns and create smaller 1' x 1' designs that can be hung beside a door, on a door, or really, anywhere you like! The wooden panels will be prepped and ready to paint, so patterns must be selected upon registration.

Participants will learn the basics and be supplied with the materials to paint their square to take home and enjoy.

Ages 12 and up. It is recommended that ages 12-14 be accompanied by an adult.
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
It will take place in the pavilion on the museum grounds
Light refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to come early to explore the museum.
Maximum of 15 participants, so register early!
